Who is Jason Ree?

The short answer is he is one of Australia’s most Industry awarded Jewellers, having taken out back to back titles of Australian Jewellery Designer of the Year along with a slew of other competition awards.

As a second generation jeweller, Jason is still glad he dropped out of Marine Biology to commit to his love of jewellery making

He has enjoyed discovering the process of Mokume Gane technique, especially as it remains largely unchanged from Feudal Japan times. Jason wears a Forged Gidgee Mokume Gane which he only takes off during his morning ocean swim from Manly to Shelley Beach.
